Commented Issue: Error "There are other servers specified as farm members in" [19339]

I'm about to give up :( … Can anyone please help! … Thanks

I’m using the AutoSPInstaller Script version 3.2. The goal is to installer SharePoint 2013 Farm containing 2 Application server ZXY-App01 and ZXY-App02 together with a Web Front End XYZ-WFE01.

I configured the AutoSPInstallerInput.xml file and renamed it to AutoSPInstallerInput-ZXY-APP01.xml. Then
I ran the file AutoSPInstallerLaunch.bat – and everything was running perfect! The first SharePoint 2013 Application server was installed successfully. 

Then I renamed the file AutoSPInstallerInput-ZXY-APP01.xml to AutoSPInstallerInput-ZXY-APP02.xml, and wanted to add the secondary application server. That was NOT a success  … and the Error is – as showed below:

I just ran into a similar problem but I am adding a WFE to my farm. I used the xml file that was configured for the original farm and it told me it had nothing to do.

I believe (I don't have time to confirm right now) this is because the new server is a WFE and isn't specified anywhere in the input xml file. I added it to CentralAdmin and ran the script again and it is currently installing.

I didn't want to provision CentralAdmin or anything else but needed to provision at least one to get the script to work.
