Description:
Fixed an issue where if you don't provide the install media in the folder and have already installed it (basically you don't want to include the 4GB of install media with the scripts). It will now safely detect the year, and if no binaries detected on the server in the default install path it will still throw the exception indicating missing binaries.
Although, realisticly you should be retrieving this registry key to check for the installed version and the installed binary paths:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office Server\12.0
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office Server\14.0
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office Server\15.0
