When attempting to install SharePoint 2013 using AutoSPInstaller on a standalone server (not part of a domain), AutoSPInstaller continually gives this error message:
__Checking credentials: "SP2013ALONE\spfarm_admin"... Invalid - please try again.
Prompting for remote/autologon credentials...__
Instead, the behavior should be able to log into the system regardless of whether or not the computer is a member of a domain.
This prevents the installation from even beginning to install the Prerequisites and binaries etc.

Sorry, AutoSPInstaller (and if I'm not mistaken, SharePoint itself) requires the server to be a domain member. I currently have no plans to change this requirement.
If you're looking for a quick single-server install, I would recommend you just set the target server up to be its own AD DC (fairly quick to do with readily-available scripts).
Thx,
Brian
