Commented Issue: Script Fails when Loading SharePoint Powershell Snapin [19094]

This is my first time using the script and I am testing it on a VM with Windows 2008 R2 OS with SharePoint 2010 Enterprise.I receive an error when it begins the Loading SharePoint Powershell Snapin that says: "The local farm is not accessible. Cmdlets with FeatureDependencyId are not registered." The binary installation completes fine, however I do think it is odd that the Configuration wizard isn't launched. Not sure if it should or not. I have tried re-running it a couple times and receive the same error and the script halts the same place every time. I have tried manually launching the SharePoint 2010 Management Shell and receive the same error. Error from log file:-------------------------------------------------------------- - Loading SharePoint Powershell Snapin---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Checking farm membership for XXXXXXX in "Farm_Config"... - Attempting to join farm on "Farm_Config"...-------------------------------------------------------------- - Script halted!Exception : System.Management.Automation.ParameterBindingValidation Exception: Cannot validate argument on parameter 'DatabaseServer'.
