just discovered, this component (distributed cache, 2013), is on a separate path and ISNT patched by sharepoint SP1 ou CUs.

Perhaps it would be good in include this in autospinstaller? can it be integrated via the updates folder?
This is mainly targeted at intensive (10k+ users) platforms.

I'll consider it, as the guidance nowadays certainly recommends installing AppFabric updates. However there would be additional complexity involved in this (e.g. do we download the updates if they're not found, do we crash the whole script if something goes wrong during their installation, etc.) My feeling is to leave them out for now as they are not strictly required for SharePoint to function properly. You could certainly add your own custom function in AutoSPInstallerFunctionsCustom.ps1 though.
On the other hand, I will definitely look into adding this hotfix into AutoSPSourceBuilder.
